Not just any walk through the park
A few years ago I took a free tour of Central Park, and even though I had been there several times before, there was much I did not know about its history, its design and natural wonders. I came away from the tour with an even stronger appreciation of the Park.
While you may have visited this park before, if you haven’t yet taken a tour of this fascinating space, you owe it to yourself to do so. If you’re visiting the park for the first time, then there’s no better way to get acquainted with a piece of NYC history.
On a free, guided walking tour of Central Park you will explore some of the park’s great features such as Strawberry Fields, the statue of Alice in Wonderland and more. You’ll also learn about the park’s design, including how the street lamps indicate the street number, and about the variety of flora that is abundant throughout the park.
Tours are led by the Central Park Conservancy and last about 1 to 1 ½ hours. For more information visit http://www.centralparknyc.org.
If you'd like to explore Central Park, NYC Limo can get you there in plenty of time to meet your tour guide and you'll be on your way to learn more about NYC.
