Contemporary art comes to the West side

Art enthusiasts will not want to miss The Armory Show- The International Fair of New Art, taking place March 5 to March 8 on Manhattan's far West side.

Street art comes to life in the Bronx

The street has provided inspiration for artists for decades, and now through Jan. 25, the Bronx Museum of the Arts explores this idea in the exhibition, Street Art, Street Life: From the 1950s to Now.

Organized by guest curator Lydia Yee of the Barbican Art Gallery in London, the exhibit showcases a variety of work from artists and photographers who went beyond artistic conventions to find the beauty in the grit and grime of the streets. The exhibit is one of the largest to consider the subject of street art, and is a must-see for any art enthusiast.

The Bronx Museum of Art is open everyday except Tuesday and Wednesday.
